Last night the GoCA (Gallery of Children's Art) team made the final selection of work for an upcoming show at Museum of Brisbane. 

The exhibition gives a voice to children ensuring that the effects of COVID-19 on their lives is documented and respected.

Choosing from hundreds of submissions from all over the State was almost too hard.

GoCA invited kindergarten and primary school aged children to respond to the question: What is different? Their answers leave us with a deeper understanding of the child’s experience during the pandemic. The artwork is an opportunity to capture the entirety of this improbable situation and how children have perceived and responded to change in their circumstances during this historical moment.

The show is a partnership between GoCA and MoB. Special thanks to all the artists, their parents and teachers, as well as C&K Queensland and Education Queensland.
